Happy October!

( This post is going to be ALL over the place. I typically write my blog throughout the day......jotting things down that I think about, what I ate, taking pictures, reflecting off and on throughout the day, then I finalize it and post the following morning. Not that anyone cares or needs to know that, but when I started the blog out for yesterday, I was having an awesome day...week...whatever, and was excited for October and my Jack-O-Lantern. As I write this.......I just got home from walking the dogs, and tripped over one of the leashes, did a face plant into the sidewalk, hurt both wrist in the fall, lost most of the skin off of one toe, and all of the polish from the toe beside it!)

THE BEGINNING OF MY DAY.....MONDAY...

This little Jack-O-Lantern belonged to my Great Great Aunt Mag, and I inherited it years ago. It makes me smile every year when I bring it out. Aunt Mag wore big jewelry, gold shoes and bright red lipstick! She always had a cigarette in between her fingers and you would always have to remind her to "ash", she always had a joke, she liked a 5:00 p.m. cocktail and said "son-of-a-bitch" a lot. I can not picture her without a smile on her face

In preparation for Fall, I thought I should get some mums, but I usually put them in these pots, and my summer flowers that dried out and looked terrible, now look really pretty and I hate to dig them up and throw them away! So I just added a few halloweeny things and decided to wait on the mums.

They didn't look this good ALL summer!

Oh we'll, less work for me now.......

Breakfast.....Peanut Butter Toast with sliced bananas.
3 PPV

I just wanted something simple......

(THIS IS WHERE IT WENT DOWNHILL)

Well, unfortunately I was faced with these a couple of hours later, and I caved......

I don't know how many I ate, but it was NOT a part of my planned 26 PPV day.

I had several hands full......and a cookie.....or two. None of these things were at my house, and they were unexpectedly in my face.

I came home for lunch and had a plate full of baked chips, taco meat and a little cheese, and a diet Coke. It this a Junk Food Day or WHAT??
8 PPV

So, late in the day, 5ish......I changed to get ready for Bootcamp. I started to really feel nauseous. I drank some water. Still nauseous.....and a little light headed. I thought about the M&M's. The toooooo many M&M's. Then I thought about the lack of anything really nutritional today? I wasn't sure if to eat something....drink more water.....or just lay down and take a nap. I knew Bootcamp was probably out because the nausea wasn't going away. I looked up a little info, and really think I made myself sick with all the sugar! Dumb....dumb....dumb.......

Refresh...I can eat 26 points a day.
I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise.
I have an allowance of 49 points that I can dip into if I chose.
I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

The food I ate today and it's PPV.

Breakfast = 3
Snack = (I HAVE NO IDEA)
Lunch = 8

Total = ???????????

Activity Points Earned Today = 0 (Now I'm just pissed)
Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 0 (probably negative!)
How many glasses of water I drank today = 8

WHAT I PLANNED FOR TODAY.......

WHAT ACTUALLY HAPPENED TODAY........

  1. Aww! I hope that you are feeling better now! Look at this as a learning experience! A month or so ago, I was covered in tick bites from a hike...and I mean hundreds of bites!! I was so miserable and felt so sorry for myself that I decided to "treat" myself (why??) with a Chickfil-a sandwich. Not a big deal and I had the points but let me tell you, I got almost half way done and I got SO SO sick to my stomach and it all came up:( My lips felt so greasy..ugh! I dont know if it was because I had not ate like that in months, too much for my system or what but I will never forget that sick feeling and I will never do that to myself again! I learned from that "treat"...although, I dont think m&m's would make me sick;)
