Excited for my Project!

I spent the afternoon sitting in the garage with the door open so the dogs could watch the people drive by, walk by, bicycle by.....and bark at every single one of them, and listen to me say...."stop barking....let's be nice"....over and over and over again......

While sitting in my garage.......studying my Grandmas Vintage Singer and debating exactly what I would like to do with it. I found a great blog where a lady had the exact same machine and made it look super cute.

Don't you LOVE it? So I am thinking something similar, but rustyish orangeish and brownish....ish....those colors would work well with the rest of our house.....I think.

For breakfast today.....Oatmeal topped with a chopped apple and cinnamon.

Then a nice 3 mile walk with Tucker......

Later in the afternoon, I went to buy Cupcakes for tomorrow. Then I went to Costco for Lasagna, Caesar salad fixings, and garlic bread. We are having family over tomorrow at noon to celebrate a few family birthdays.

Our grandson, Alex, is here tonight, and we spent the evening grilling hot dogs, playing outside and sitting in the driveway in front of the fire pit, eating popcorn and telling scary stories......but I made them all have a Happy Ending! :)

Dinner....

Refresh...I can eat 26 points a day.
I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise.

  1. I love your sewing machine project. I sew quilts (not as much as I use to) and have collected some antique sewing machines. They are always so sweet! Your night with your grandson and fire pit and popcorn and stories sounds like the best night ever! Enjoy your family today!
