Monday Munchies.......

4 Egg Whites
2 Links Turkey Sausage
1 laughing Cow Cheese Wedge melted in my eggs
1 Slice of Toast with 1 T Better N Peanut Butter and sliced banana
(I woke up STARVING!)

Cookies and coffee for a mid morning snack

Snack (another one!)
Celery, Laughing Cow Cheese Wedge

A little stew meat and stew carrots mixed with some
Green Giant Tuscan Seasoned Broccoli (delicious, but 2 PPV per serving)

Tasted great mixed together!

Snack (I tried to spread things out today, but I certainly did eat frequently!)

Banana Choco Chip VitaTop, Cup of Hot Tea
(This flavor of VitaTops has 5g of Protein and 9g of fiber!)

And it's only 2 PPV!

By the time Dinner rolled around, I decided I wasn't in the mood for any more Stew, and I really wasn't hungry. Then at about 7:30, I couldn't stop thinking about my Apples In A Bag.

Dessert for dinner? As they were cooking up in the microwave, I wondered what I could eat them with. I have been eating them over a bowl of oatmeal, and I wasn't in the mood for oatmeal. I decided to make a quesadilla! An apple quesadilla! So I sprayed some Butter flavored cooking spray on the pan, and on my tortilla. then I spread a tablespoon of Better N Peanut Butter on it! I know! Crazy, right?? Then I spread a few apples on that, and gave it a fold. Then, I sprinkled just a tiny bit, ( 1/2 tsp ) of cinnamon sugar on the outside, gave it a flip and another sprinkle. Now, I only had the 4 PPV tortillas, but this snack could have been reduced with a better choice of tortilla, but I just didn't have them. But because of how yummy this was, I 'll be buying some today! The apples that didn't fit inside, tasted GREAT on the side just as they were.........


Refresh...I can eat 26 points a day.
I can earn Activity Points by doing exercise.
I have an allowance of 49 points that I can dip into if I chose.
I should drink a minimum of 6 (8 oz) glasses of water each day.

As I look over my food choices for the day, I was obviously wanting carbs today. I still have points left from my weekly allowance, but I will go for less carbs on Tuesday, and get a LONG walk in. So far, its been a MUCH better week than the last four were.

  1. Yum! I would love that apple supper! I dont know why but I think it would be so good with maybe a little ham steak or leftover pork roast! One of my favorite suppers after an evening run is a PB, banana, honey roll-up! I need to try grilling it!

    1. I haven't had a ham steak in forever! that does sound good together! I will add that to my list of things to make! Hope all is well with you! Did your husband fully recover?

  2. He is still recovering but has gone back to work!! YES! Someone has to pay for my race fees;) btw, I got a call last night from my ww leader that they are looking for someone to work some nights and weekends!!!! I filled out an app. and I guess I will see what happens. They still have a hiring freeze but it did sound hopeful! I have no problem with being at the me something to work for!
