"Weigh-In" Day and "Back in the Zone"

"Weigh-In" went well. I didn't lose much, but I lost, and that felt good.

Todays Weight.....171.0.

I lost 0.6. It really sucks that I let the 170's creep back into my life, but they'll be gone soon. No worries.

I have actually made it to the treadmill THREE days in a row. I let the Holiday errand running and crazy schedule and shoulder problem all get in the way of my exercise routine. Excuses, I know. I go to the Dr. for my MRI next Friday to determine my shoulder issue. I'd just like life to get back to normal, whatever THAT means.

I am constantly learning new things about my Ipad and blogging. I'm a little slow.....at most things. I just this week discovered how to take a picture of my screen. Screen shot? That would have been so helpful when trying to show all of you my Weigh In results. My favorite part of blogging!!! No, not really.

Here is a picture of my online graph with Weight Watchers, and where I began at 207.4.

Here is where I am at today.

On the days I feel a little frustrated, it's good to look at the graph for a visual of how far I have come. It also helps encourage me to continue, so I can watch that little dot go down!

We talked about reflection in the meeting and what things we have changed during the year 2012. Planning and tracking were very popular subjects. Tess went with me to the meeting, and later her and I talked about the progress we both had made in planning and what a great meeting it was. We both feel "On Track" and ready for the new year.

Perfect example......

We really wanted to hit a lot of our favorite eating spots before she moves away.....

One of those is Gates BBQ. We both love a Beef Sandwich, fries and an Ice Cold Beer. We love the food at Gates, but we also love the experience of having the employees yell at you when you walk in the door. If you have been there, you know what I mean. If you haven't, you should go. It's a little intimidating, but funny too. It's actually almost more fun to watch the people in line in front of you that have never been there. I can't explain it. Go. We decided the night before we went that we would split the sandwich and fries, but not the beer, duh. I know this must sound like such a simple decision to so many people, but when you have lived a majority of your life without really thinking about what you put into your mouth, deciding to split a meal YOU REALLY ENJOY, is kind of a big deal. We also met a good friend there, and the focus really was about the conversation. The food was good. The friend was great. :)

Now....it's party time.

Tess had a small get together at our house Friday night. These are some of her closest friends from college. I took this picture before I went to bed. When I woke up at 4:00 am because the dog needed to go outside, THEY WERE ALL STILL UP! So I had to join in on the conversation, and went back to bed an hour later. They're all just so darn entertaining!

Mike and I went to some friends house for a while. I did dip into my "49 allowance" points, but feel great about being back at tracking so regularly, and exercising!

Activity Points Earned Today = 3
Remaining points from my 49 Points Allowance = 19
How many glasses of water I drank today = 10

I need to keep this quote in my head! It's a good one.

"love the life you live, live the life you love"
