1000 pieces, 11 evenings.......done!

Yip. That's right. Mr. Competitive had to see in just how many days he could get that 1000 piece puzzle completed! I helped a little, but Mr. Competitive is also Mr. Patient. The guy could sit there staring at all those red pieces for hours! It was good to fill our evenings with the puzzle and good chats versus staring aimlessly at a TV show we weren't really interested in anyhow. Maybe after New Years, I'll get another one!

I met with the owner of the Bootcamp, and he suggested returning to Bootcamp would not be in my best interest. I probably knew that, and I think the surgeon let me know that I could if I wanted to, just for the routine of it all. Let me whine for just a sec. Skip to the next paragraph if you must. I just wish when I started having trouble, I would have went to the Dr. instead of thinking time would heal it. I am tired of the daily pain and now, knowing that I have to wait until after the 1st to find out what the next steps are, then wondering how long those next steps will take and when will I have full use of my shoulder.....is overwhelmingly an exhausting thought. Thanks for listening.

I had a bit of an irritating afternoon and was ready to belly up to a bar for a beer and a basket of chips and salsa. So I did. Mike was on his way after work to meet me. By the time he got there, I was on beer number two and a second basket of chips!




I wasn't going to order any dinner......then the bartender convinced me to try some chicken/steak tower something or another. How many points is THAT?

Wait. How many points is a BASKET OF CHIPS???

You should NEVER NEVER eat chips and salsa and drink beer the night before a weigh in! What a dumb a**!




Obviously I had some sort of a carb-comfort food-whacked out day of eating.

We got home from dinner at like 8:30. I was tired, it felt even later, and it was cold. I wanted the couch, my P.J.'s, my blanket and the dogs. Instead I changed clothes, grabbed the leashes, and out the door we went. There is just something about these after dark walks with all the Christmas lights that I am loving! The neighborhood just glows and I love it! It's a little energizing I guess. It was just a 30 minute walk, but the dogs needed it just as much as I did!

Thank goodness it's Friday! My new Weight Watcher week begins on Fridays.

I have an allowance of 49 points that I can dip into if I chose.
