EASY Beef Stroganoff

1 lb lean ground beef (16 PPV)
1 onion, chopped (0 PPV)
2 T flour (1 PPV)
1 can beef broth (10 oz) (0 PPV)
1 can sliced mushrooms (4 oz) (0 PPV)
6 oz fat free Greek plain yogurt (2 PPV)
Salt and pepper

Egg Noodles....or Brown Rice....or Mashed potatoes or a Baked Potato!






Cook beef and onion together. Sprinkle flour over the beef mixture and stir.






Add beef broth and stir. Add mushrooms and stir. Turn off heat and add yogurt and stir.




Add Egg Noodles and stir. Or pour over Brown Rice or potatoes, or even a Baked Potato!

It looks like Hamburger Helper! Dontcha think??

  1. My grandmother used to make this for my sweet Grandpa!! He called in SOS. We often had it over buttered white bread!! Open faced style. So good!

  2. That's funny you said that, because as I was making it, I was thinking about the toast and hamburger gravy we would eat for dinner when I was little. My mom also made SOS, but with the little packages of corned beef! Ahhhh, the good old days.......
